SHRM is finally (almost) here. Whether you’re a first timer or a true SHRM VIP, the key to making the most out of these 4 days of HR bliss is knowing just how to navigate the immense amount of learning opportunities, networking possibilities, and of course, the right amount of free expert consulting to leave the biggest impact on you and your team. Read on for 10 insights you’re certain to gather from SHRM 15:

Networking:

Think you’re a networking pro now? Just wait until you’re surrounded by 15,000 of your peers. Sure, you came to SHRM with a group of likeminded, brilliant co-workers, but so did everyone else, so don't forget to socialize! You likely learned your communication skills early on and haven’t given too much thought to honing them ever since. Well, this week is the week all that changes. How to take awesome notes:

Your brain may hurt after only 2 days at SHRM; you haven’t had to deal with the deluge of this much great, actionable information since you were in school.
