One of the vertical search engines that no one really ever talks about is called Software Job Link. It is run by a guy named Jay Soshnik and his partner and guess what? it's for sale.
Jay and I spoke for the first time about a year ago and yesterday he contacted me wanting to know if I knew anyone who may be interested in buying the site as well as the engine that powers the site.
It could be a good investment for a company that is looking to run/license this vertical search technology out to companies who want to tackle specific market niches.
