Well, after sitting on the shelf for about 4 years, I am finally ready to make something public (beta of course) . There is no business development attached and there is no marketing attached. There is no VC money, heck, there is not even a business plan let alone a recent logo. It is just an idea I had after looking at all the flawed referral based systems out there.
John Sumser told me in one of our first conversations that he thought Recruiting.com would be a great launching pad for ideas and stuff so I am taking him up on the idea.
It is called Jobreferrals.com you can see it in action with the new Samsung position they are looking to fill. Dennis Smith who is the guy over at Samsung thinks the job referral system is cool and in fact, he is the only person who has ever agreed to try it. What this means is that the only position being listed on the site is from Samsung. This does not mean I am not open to more.
If you have any questions about it, you can email me. If you have any comments, please leave them.
But just so you know, whoever you refer will never know you referred them. They won't even know you got paid for making the referal And if you refer yourself, the company you refered yourself to will never know you referred yourself and collected the referral bonus. Think about that!
