I had a great conversation today with Marc Cenedella who is the CEO of theLadders and keeper of the blog called stone. Sidenote - if you send him an email from his blog, the subject says "I'm a stoner" - Yes we are, well, maybe not everyone.

We talked about lots of things but really focused on blogs and recruiting. He believes that the impact that the recruiting bogs out there have on the industry is only beginning. A few years out, the situation will be quite different. I agree with Marc about the current situation and what he thinks will happen.
I guess it is what Joel Cheesman is talking about when he says Who Reads This Stuff Anyways . After reading this the other day, I called him and we discussed it for a while and I think he may in fact be right for the most part. Well, we need to change this. At least I am going to try to change this along with the other recruiting.com writers. I have some ideas. There are lots and lots of recruiters out there who's input and ideas we as a blogosphere are not capturing because of a lack of recruiting blog distribution.
So, thanks in advance to Marc who will be including a Recruiting.com link in his newsletter that goes out to his community and thanks to Craig Silverman who will put a link to recruiting.com into his newsletter that goes out to 25 thousand people.
Here is my suggestion to get some more visibility. All of us recruiting bloggers should let all the other recruiters we know in on the ever growing daily content being collectively created and displayed on www.recruitingblogs.com If your recruiting blog is not being displayed there, let me know and I will add it.
Have a great weekend everyone.
