Hiring teams and staffing agencies have become so obsessed with metrics that they have forgotten how important it is to provide recruiters with good tools on the front end. They rely on the big traditional job boards and recruiter savvy to make up for what their systems lack. This is a big mistake and it costs the staffing and human resources a ton of money and time lost to inefficiencies hard coded into their organizations that primarily serve the interests of management on a reporting level. Three companies, StandoutJobs, JobScore and CatchTheBest seek to take things to the next level by inserting themselves between the hiring organizations and the candidates and they may be on to something big.
A few days ago StandoutJobs announced their new tool that would help recruiters to source candidates for jobs. While I think they are focused around the idea that they have built a really nice career site replacement option, I think what they have really created is a recruiting management tool.
