How Many PR folks at Monster Does It Take To Send An E-mail?

I've updated the post to remove the name of the person upon request

Title: What's your impression of the online game from Monster.com?

(no hello, no Dear Jim, just straight into the pitch)

Monster.com is still making "impressions" with its quirky online game "Foot In The Door." We would love to read your opinion on Monster taking this new step into advergaming. Check it out at http://theirgame.com, then let us know what you think.
Here's a bit about the game from the VP of online media for Monster:

"Foot In The Door is a fun, interactive way for job seekers to relax while making fun of the experience of getting into an interview, and the hurdles they find in the process,” said John Federico, vice president online media for Monster. “We want to give seekers a chance to take a quick break to toss some toes, score some points at the office and challenge their friends to getting their name on the score board. More importantly we hope Foot In The Door helps players see how Monster can help them walk through the door to their next great career.”
Thanks,

This Is My Response:

______,

There are so many things wrong with this e-mail that I feel the need to correct you.

How about introducing yourself before launching into your pitch?
Which blog of mine are you referencing? Surely you don’t want this game on my blog about stinky feet?
Why did you personalize the message halfway?
What would you actually like me to do with this e-mail, post a link to the game, or send you feedback.

Before you blast off e-mails to bloggers, you should really consider joining the community, contacting them, or building a relationship.

This will be posted at Recruiting.com, without a link to the game site, but with your name on it.

-Jim

P.s. My input on the game was it was poorly done, not that exciting, and bad for the brand. I get that ‘foot in the door’ sounds clever, but I wouldn’t send this around to friends, even for a cheat code.

What the HELL is that a picture of? It better not be a picture of Stevens ass!
Give it a quick glance, I think Steven is mooning Monster...

Does Monster realize that getting your foot in the door is actually a pretty painful experience?

You say "Monster basher" like it's a bad thing.
