The ERE Expo will be taking place pretty soon. This last year I have developed a great relationship with Dave Manaster and it’s great to see your friends be successful. Last year Dave started the ERE Foundation in order to support education and literacy programs that provide underprivileged young people with the skills they need for future careers all over the world.
Dave and I got to talking and the subject of a poker tournament came up. I thought wow that would be a great idea. I mean there are lots of vendors coming down and there will be lots of people who will attending. Makes for a perfect game. Don’t you think Gerry? I mean I know that Russell Glass at ZoomInfo is going to sponsor it without having to ask. It’s like he has this spot light shining up the sky for everyone to see that says I am in. He did confirm.
I know it’s not a lot of time but given the format of this one and the good times that people had at the last couple, I figure we as a recruiting community should be able to make this happen.
Here are the details.
- The poker event will be the night of April 18/2007 at the hotel that the ERE Expo is at.
- There will be 25 sponsors and each sponsor gets two seats at the table. One for them and one for some lucky customer perhaps
- A total of 50 players will battle down to one final winner.
- The proceeds of this charity event will go to the ERE Foundation
- The cost is $1000.00
