What was the job to have last year may well be the most overpopulated field next year. Technology and information have had an amazing affect on the marketplace, and with change in the media being marketed, it naturally follows to find change in the need for experienced niche market employees and consultants to control and support the media at hand. I was reading this interesting article on workforce.com. It was more of a book review on a book titled “Talent on Demand” by Peter Cappelli. It mentioned something that I often thought about and recently discussed with Don Ramer and John Sumser after the Recruiting Roadshow in Las Vegas last week. It was about to the erroneous foundation companies have for formulating strategies especially as they relate to sourcing.

Over the years thru the many webinars and one-on-one trainings and what have you. There is always somebody who would ask me “how did you do that?” And it inevitably they reffered to a keyboard shortcut I used. And in a conversation today, the talk happen to go to this same issue and I thought may be I should show you some of the common shortcuts and some not so common ones that can help you economize some time.

I was just boiling some water for my tea, and a thought occured to me. This was one of those random thoughts that hits you and leaves you wide mouthed. Anyway, I thought about Internet research and compared it to boiling water for tea. Like I said, it was a random thought.
